Preservation Fund

Blawenburg Reformed Church has been serving Blawenburg and surrounding communities for over 175 years.  In addition to being a center for Christian worship, it has cared for local families and supported missions around the world.

The mission statement says that:

Blawenburg Reformed Church is a covenant community of God’s people united in Christ through the Holy Spirit.  We commit our gifts to worship, hospitality, lifelong learning, serving those in need, and proclaiming the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Our buildings are not our primary focus, but they are necessary to carry out our mission.  They are showing their age and are in need of repair and maintenance. 

The Blawenburg Preservation Fund seeks to raise $500,000 by January 2011 to:

·                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                paint the church

·                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                repair or replace the septic system

·                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                reinforce sagging beams beneath the church

·                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                and more.
