BRC Preservation Fund Campaign

Latest on the Campaign Pledge Drive

The remarkable early success of the BRC Preservation Fund campaign continued in the past month.  As of Monday, June 9, the total amounts pledged and in hand were as follows:

Pledges:                          $220,870

Grant (Landmarks):         $1,000

Cash:                              $40,660

Total                              $262,530

With just over five months of the campaign behind us, we are past the 50% mark.  This is a remarkable testament to the generosity of all of our donors, each of whom are listed on the final page. Recent and Upcoming Fundraising Events

Following the very successful spring rummage sale, the second pancake breakfast of the spring was held in May and brought in an additional $500 for the Preservation Fund. In addition, many thanks to Barbara and Joe Pavlicek who donated their time for their presentation on natural juice products at the Church; proceeds of orders will go to the Preservation Fund.   Finally, as noted in the previous flyer, we are planning an event for Sunday August 24: an ice cream social, with entertainment provided by the Blawenburg Band.  We need volunteers to help staff this event (setup, scoopers, and cleanup), so if you plan on being in town at that time and can volunteer, please let Nancy at the Church office know, or contact Todd Quackenbush (in church or at wagontrax@aol.com).  Other projected events are:

October:   Wine Tasting and Antique Auction
