· FEED MY SHEEP! This is the theme of this year’s One Great Hour of Sharing mission and our focus for Lent. If you did not receive our traditional coin boxes and sacrificial giving guides at home in the mail or if you would like additional boxes and guides, you may pick up extra materials at the back of the Sanctuary or at coffee hour. Jesus reminds us that there are many small ways we can make a big difference in helping out our brothers and sisters around the block and around the world. We are expected to feed, clothe, to help provide shelter, education, health care, clean water, and spiritual comfort. Some things we can do here in small acts; others we can support financially through our gifts. (Coin boxes and offering envelopes are collected and offered up on our ‘Alleluia Day’ of Easter. Any checks should be made payable to BRC, noting O.G.H.S. on the memo line.)

Around Town

· Mt Airy Presbyterian Church Hymn Sing - Sunday evening, 4/25 at 7 pm. Please join us to celebrate Eastertide, and bring your friends and neighbors. With no sermon given and no offering taken, but refreshments provided free of charge, it's a great way to welcome non-churchgoers into a sanctuary to hear the Word sung and to enjoy loving fellowship.
· Deanna McAnear is preparing for her third lemonade stand at Communiversity, Princeton's big street festival held on April 24th, and also trying to do some fundraising through email. Deanna has been able to raise approx. $4,600 in the past two years by finding donations and selling lots and lots of lemonade and brownies. Deanna would love if you would go to her fundraising page to read a little bit about the foundation and all that it does to help the lives of children who are fighting cancer. Deanna understands that these are uncertain economic times for many but if you are able, a donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated! No amount is too small. If you are local, please stop by her stand for a glass! http://www.alexslemonade.org/stands/2778
