Our Sunday Worship Service

Worship is a time to connect with God and connect with one another.

Our worship service begins at 10am in our sanctuary. The service begins with words of welcome from our pastor and an opening prayer. Within our service, we hear and recite words from scripture and traditional elements of Christian worship services such as the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. We sing congregational music, including hymns and songs from our hymnals and songbooks. Our music director also plays a prelude and postlude either on our pipe organ or our handbells. Occasionally, musical elements are offered on guitar, flute, keyboard or other instruments. We have a season choir that rehearses and sings during the Christmas and Easter seasons. The service includes a time of announcements when people in attendance are offered a chance to voice requests for prayers, which will later be included in the prayer near the end of the service. Following worship, we typically have a time of refreshment either outdoors or in our church hall.
