Journey Through the Past Events

Blawenburg Church Tours
Saturday ~ 10am to 5pm
Sunday ~ 12pm to 4pm

The sanctuary and church grounds will be open for public visitation and tours. You will learn about how the church was started, how it was built in 1830, how it separated from its parent church, and much more. Docents will answer questions and provide information at stations throughout the church.

West Blawenburg Stroll

Pastor Jeff Knol and Tales of Blawenburg author David Cochran will conduct a West Blawenburg Stroll on Saturday, October 12 at 1:30pm. In the event of rain, visit blawenburgchurch.org for information.
We will go on a short walk to the old Blawenburg Cemetery and learn about Broad View Farm along the way. At the cemetery, we will hear the stories of several of its residents and events that happened there... the first residents of the village, the pastor's wife who was troubled by a ghost, the KKK funeral, and much more. ​

Where to Park
You may park at the Princeton Elks Lodge, 354 Route 518, Skillman 08558. See the map below. The stroll will begin there, and then go to the Blawenburg Cemetery.​

Duration of the Tour​
Depending on the group size, the tour should take between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Walk Carefully
We will be walking through grass, and the ground is uneven in spots. Please wear shoes that will be good for this location. If you use a cane or other walking appliance, please bring it with you.
