Blawenburg Stroll

Saturday ~ 2pm

Pastor Jeff Knol and Tales of Blawenburg author David Cochran will conduct a Blawenburg Stroll, a walking tour through the old village, telling the stories of the old houses and buildings and their residents. You will learn about the oldest house in Blawenburg, the Sears houses, the old country store, the original farms, and much more.

Participants will meet at the church and walk west to the intersection of Georgetown-Franklin Turnpike (Route 518) and Route 601. The Stroll will end at the church, so participants can also take a church tour to learn even more about the historic village.

Organ Recital

Sunday ~ 2pm

On Sunday at 2pm, organist Kathleen S. Connolly will present a recital celebrating the recent restoration of the church’s 1973 baroque-style two-manual Gress-Miles pipe organ. The program will incorporate various pieces of repertoire in a show-and-tell introduction to the capabilities and sounds of the instrument.
