My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19

My heart aches for all the suffering in the world today: wars, earthquakes, famine bringing starvation and death, deportation without process, school shootings, children traumatized, seeing their classmates dying beside them, and political assassinations.

​

Feeling both angry and helpless, I find myself quick to react without grace when I am frustrated. This prayer calms and guides me and even brings a sense of peace within me… continue
